Zoom is a video-conference software that allows groups of people to connect over the internet via a computer, smartphone, tablet, or telephone (audio only).
To download the Zoom software on your computer, visit Zoom.us/download and download the “Zoom Client for Meetings.” Your computer will need a camera and microphone. When you’re ready to join your ready, either
click on a Zoom link provided by your meeting host (or on the church website)
or go to zoom.us and click “Join a Meeting,” and enter your Meeting ID.
To use the Zoom app on a smartphone or tablet, download the “ZOOM Cloud Meetings” app (by Meet Happy) from your app store. It’s free. Once downloaded, open the app, tap “Join,” and type in the Meeting ID when it’s time for your meeting.
To call in on a telephone, dial the number and then enter the Meeting ID. You will be able to hear everyone and they will be able to hear you.
NOTE: You do not need to create an account to use Zoom, but you may. When on a meeting, you will have the ability to mute and unmute yourself, turn on and turn off your camera.
